ERN ITHACA, Department of Clinical Genetics, Robert Debré Hospital, AP-HP
Rare and low-prevalence complex diseases affect the daily lives of around 30 million EU citizens, and require highly specialized and multidisciplinary care. European Reference Networks (ERNs) are virtual Europe-wide networks of healthcare providers (HCPs) with high expertise in these diseases, that aim to improve the care of such patients by promoting cross-border sharing of best practice, improving patient access to diagnostic opinions, guiding management of rare diseases, providing teaching and training, undertaking collaborative research and establishing and utilising rare disease registries.
ERN ITHACA, one of the 24 ERNs established in 2017, brings together experts in rare congenital malformations and rare intellectual disability disorders from 38 HCPs in 14 states. It covers several thousand disorders of both genetic and non-genetic origin.
The ITHACA coordination team is currently based at Robert Debré Hospital, AP-HP, in Paris, France.
The IT Manager/Documentalist will work under the supervision of the ERN Coordinator and the ERN Project Manager.

He/she will work in close daily collaboration with the Associate Project Manager/Helpdesk manager, Communications manager and other personnel recruited for specific ERN ITHACA tasks and projects.

In addition, he/she will interact with the staff and administration of the coordinating HCP, other ITHACA HCPs and affiliated partners, and other ERNs and EU agencies.
The IT Manager/CPMS Helpdesk Manager will:
- Conceive, develop and maintain web applications for the ERN and coordinating HCP, and assist the Communications Manager in maintaining and modifying the ERN website.
- Help create disease or patient databases and registries, including an ID gene database and wiki;
- Take charge of the CPMS Helpdesk in order to assist users, and, in collaboration with CPMS developers, help modify the tools available to better meet the needs of ITHACA clinicians.
- Help manage interactive evaluation, eLearning and other IT tools or platforms developed by the ERN, European authorities or national networks, and help establish user guides, FAQs and training sessions aimed at ITHACA members;
- Help the Project Manager in the day-to-day coordination of the ERN,
including setting up and ensuring the correct functioning of web meetings.

Professional qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, plus at least 2 years’ professional experience as a website developer and/or IT manager.
- Bilingual English-French or native English speaker with sufficient written and spoken French for communication with coordination team members;
- Experience with building, deploying, and updating web content in WordPress or similar CMS
- Excellent programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
- Familiarity with: JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, PHP, ASP.NET, Python, Ruby, Node.JS
- Solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
- Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, object-oriented programming, and web application development
- Experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics/Webmaster Tools
- Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process
- Experienced in Adobe Creative Cloud

period of 3 months.
Salary according to the AP-HP scale.

22 hours per week, fixed-term contract (CDD) for 1 year, renewable. Renewable trial
